Hi everyone!  Why “The Batty Owl?” Simple – because I like bats and I like owls!  I admit it, I am a little “batty” too!

I’m a daughter of God, mom, grandmother, wife, catechist/youth minister, crafter, threatened and endangered species biologist, and so much more!  My latest craft endeavor is painting and photography. I have tried many different media types and go with whatever strikes my mood. You will see a lot of my own photography on this site. Please don’t download or use without permission.
